Crispin Goytia-Vasquez  is a community health and research engagement professional specializing in patient-centered research and community-driven approaches to health equity. She has led initiatives that elevate the role of communities in research through skills training and leadership development. By connecting academic research, clinical systems, and community-based organizations, she ensures that the perspectives of patients and other partners guide health innovation.

Her work includes contributions to projects funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and PCORnet, where she has advanced inclusive models of engagement in comparative effectiveness research. She has developed training curricula, facilitated advisory boards, and implemented culturally responsive strategies that strengthen the participation of diverse communities in research and health system transformation.
